What payment methods do you offer?

Gallerist offers different forms of payment: payment via PayPal, credit card or prepaid credit card via PayPal.

Do I have to pay to make a call?

We do not provide interactive calls.

How can I place a bid for an auction?

The process is simple.

  •  Go to “Auction” and look carefully at the advertisement;
  • Select the advertisement you’re interested in and click “Rebid”;
  • On the screen that will appear, you will be asked to enter the amount of the rebid you want to make. When you enter the desired amount, remember that every auction has a minimum bid increment every participant must observe;
  • Click on “Confirm” and your offer will be sent.
How can I view my receipt history?

You can request a copy of what you’ve already received via mail, using one of the methods specified on the “General/Contacts” section of the FAQs.

What is your refund policy?

Gallerist doesn’t offer cash refunds for the downloaded contents.

I’m experiencing problems downloading purchased contents, what can I do?

In “My Galleries” section you’ll find the contents you purchased. Images and clips can be downloaded an unlimited number of times, after you’ve purchased a license.
Before contacting support, try to:

  • Check if you’ve installed the latest version of Gallerist;
  • Log out and then log in again;
  • Clear the cache of your smartphone;
  • Make sure your internet connection works.
  • Make sure your Wi-Fi connection works (if you’re using the Wi-Fi);
  • Use a different smartphone.

If you still experience problems, contact support for assistance, using one of the methods specified on the “General/Contacts” section of the FAQs.

Licenses and Royalties

Once I’ve purchased a content, am I the rightful owner of said content?

Once you’ve purchased a content, you acquire the user license and you can use that content as laid down in the “General Conditions of Use” document in regard of the user licenses.

How can I be sure the contents I purchased are original?

APP terms of service bound Gallerist authors/sellers to post only contents that exclusively belong to them. If you find a violation of the terms, contact the support, using one of the methods specified on the “General/Contacts” section of the FAQs.

Uploading contents

How do I apply filters for the photo preview?

After choosing to upload your photo, it will appear a screen and you’ll be asked to choose the maximum and minimum blurring levels you want to apply to your preview, so potential buyers can view it. Move the cursor to indicate the maximum and minimum percentage you want to set for your photos.

How do I change the size of my photos?

Gallerist doesn’t provide tools for changing the size of your photos.

Can I publish my contents on other Social Networks?

Gallerist doesn’t offer an Exclusive option for the authors/sellers, who use its platform. Every Gallerist author/seller is free to post their works on other platforms, too. If you have doubts over exclusivity and who owns the rights of the images you upload on Gallerist, consult the “General Conditions of Use”.

Can I upload contents from Desktop?

NO.

Why can’t I upload a content on my profile?

To successfully upload your contents, make sure your file is compliant with the specific requests to upload a file and that your smartphone doesn’t have a software to block all leaving information. If the problem persists, contact the support, using one of the methods specified on the “General/Contacts” section of the FAQs.

Why can’t I view contents uploaded on my profile?

Your smartphone connection could have problems. Before contacting support, try to:

  • Check if you’ve installed the latest version of Gallerist;
  • Log out and then log in again;
  • Clear the cache of your smartphone;
  • Make sure your internet connection works.
  • Make sure your Wi-Fi connection works (if you’re using the Wi-Fi);
  • Use a different smartphone;

How can other users view contents on my profile?

Users can view the galleries you choose to make public, the auctioned ones and the galleries you are selling.

Deleting contents

How can I delete a content uploaded on my profile?

You can delete your works from the online selling on Gallerist, selecting the gallery in “My Galleries” section, that you find in your “Personal Area”, you’ll enter the “Modify” section. Then you have simply to click on the “Cancel” button to delete the photos you don’t want to sell anymore. You can choose to delete a single photo or an entire gallery.
If you want to delete a Gallery from the “Public” section, you must make it private, first, then you can delete it.

Once I’ve deleted a content from my profile, will it be removed permanently?

Yes, once you’ve deleted a content from your profile, it will be removed from the site, too, as laid down in the “General Conditions of Use” and “Privacy Policy” documents.

What payment methods do you offer?

Gallerist offers different payment methods: payment via PayPal, credit card or prepaid credit card via PayPal.

I sold a content, how can I get my proceeds?

Your earning will be credited to you, net of all due commissions, within the set timeframe and procedures specified in the payment conditions [USA & Canada Paypal Fees; UK Paypal Fees], after the buyer will have perfectioned the payment.

Why the payment wasn’t credited on my account?

There could have been problems with the data you submitted. First, check if you’ve entered the correct payment info: if there are any errors, enter all the necessary changes, then contact support in any of the following ways:
If you have to receive the payment via PayPal, check with PayPal support if there are other problems in receiving the payments.

Licenses and royalties

Once a content is uploaded on Gallerist, who hold the rights of said content?

As stated in the terms and conditions provided for user licenses, that can be found in “General Conditions of Use” who holds the rights of on sale images is always and only the author/seller, who take responsibility for being their rightful owner and for uploading only original images. Purchasing a license gives you only the right of using the image within the prescribed terms by the user license, while the author has still their ownership.

Crashes

Gallerist keeps on crashing. Why?

Check if your Internet or Wi-Fi connection has problems, then try again after some minutes. If you don’t find obstacles in connecting from your smartphone, contact support, using one of the methods specified on the “General/Contacts” section of the FAQs.

Gallerist crashes during the payment. How can I resolve the problem?

If the problem persists, contact PayPal support, before contacting Gallerist support.

Gallerist is slow, how can I increase its speed?

Check your Internet connection settings and make sure you cleared your cache. If your APP is still very slow, check if the speed of Internet or Wi-Fi connection of your smartphone can support image download.

I recognized that a content isn’t original, how can I report it?

Contact Gallerist support, using one of the methods specified on the “General/Contacts” section of the FAQs.
Remember to include all the references relevant to recognize that third parties already posted the content and doesn’t belong to the author who uploaded it on Gallerist.

A content bothers me, how can I report it?

Report the content to the support, if and only if said content violates Gallerist “General Conditions of Use” and “Privacy Policy”. Who registers on Gallerist accepts all its service terms and conditions of use. In accordance with them, until a content doesn’t violate the laws and the terms of service, it can be uploaded on the platform and sold in compliance with the “General Conditions of Us” and the “Privacy Policy”.

I suspect one of a third party has used one of my contents without my permission. How can I report it?

Contact Gallerist support, using one of the methods specified on the “General/Contacts” section of the FAQs.
Remember to include all the references relevant to recognize that third parties already posted the content and doesn’t belong to the author who uploaded it on Gallerist.
